About U3A
International U3A (University of the Third Age)We are part of a huge
international organisation, with 741 U3As and 229,645 members throughout the UK. The Objective of the organisation
is to further the social & learning interests of those who are no longer in full-time employment. Marlow
and District U3A The Marlow & District U3A was formed just three years ago and now has over 490
members. Members have initiated nearly 60 groups, which meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly to study or
enjoy a particular skill, either in members’ homes or some other venue. These groups are the essence
of the U3A and information about them is included in our bi-monthly Newsletter. Frequently new groups start
up, as members actively initiate them. In addition to these groups, there
is a Monthly Meeting with interesting speakers covering a range of topics. Click here for the National U3A website |
